Piton is a non-traditional take on the battery powered portable lamp, playfully referencing the archetypal flashlight.

Piton takes its name from a climbing apparatus that is jammed into cracks and crevices on mountainsides to which the climber can attach hooks, tools and ropes while rigging it in various positions; an element that is also present in the design of the Piton Portable Lamp.”
